" Kindness Tea from Mary Lou!"
One of my mother volunteers brought a big mug of this tea to me one cold December morning.
I have been drinking it ever since and sharing her kind, sweet act with others!

Ingredients:

4 c. water
3/4 to 1 c. sugar
1/4 c. lemon juice ( in bottle, is fine!)
1 1/2 c hot strong tea (I use orange herb tea - it is perfect for this)
2 2/3 c. pineapple juice
1/4 c. Tang (orange drink mix)
3/4 tsp. almond extract
3/4 tsp. vanilla

Directions:

*Combine water, sugar and lemon juice in Dutch oven (large kettle), simmer 5 minutes.
*Add remaining ingredients, cook till thoroughly heated. Yield 2 quarts
*Leftovers can be refrigerated and reheated in the microwave.
