Communion Bread

Communion Bread bake at 375%

Ingredients: 

  • 2 cups whole wheat pastry flour

  • 1/2 tea salt

  • 8 T.olive oil Bertolli light

  • 6 T. boiling or ice water I use ice water

Directions:
Combine flour and salt
Combine oil and water
Add to dry ingredients
Stir until all the flour is dampened
Divide into 2 portions
Roll out each portion between two sheets of waxed paper to thickness of pie crust

Place on baking sheet

Mark of in 3/4 inch squares
Pick each square with a fork
Place on ungreased baking sheets before you mark off

Bake at 375% about 20 minutes or 8 or 10 minutes on some sheets

Watch carefully last 5 minutes so bread doesn't burn or get to brown
